Last month, Erin Holbrook attended the Collective Impact Convening in Chicago from May 14-16. The Collective Impact Convening brings together funders, backbone organizations, and community partners for cross-sector dialogue and peer learning to achieve systems change and tackle complex social issues. Some of Erin’s favorite sessions included John a. Powell’s plenary on othering, belonging, and targeted universalism; Carmita Semaan’s short talk on authentic relationships and community participation, and FSG’s tool session providing a framework for systems change.
