Via Evaluation recently had the privilege of participating in the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County’s 23rd annual Day of Caring. Through this event, held on 8/19, the United Way matched over 3,250 volunteers from local companies to nonprofits in order to complete projects. We were delighted to be matched with one of our clients, Northwest Buffalo Community Center, to help with the summer program’s Field Day.
Via staff enjoyed helping youth with arts and crafts, literacy, and computer skills, and cheering them on during outdoor competitive games. The potato sack races were our favorite! Thank you to the United Way and to Northwest Buffalo Community Center for providing us with this opportunity.
