Via Evaluation staff is proud to have been a part of the 21st Annual Day of Caring that took place on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. This is Western New York’s largest community service event, mobilizing thousands of volunteers to complete hands-on, community service projects in Erie and Niagara counties.
Organized by the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, Via staff helped the residents of DeGraff Adult Day Care enjoy their outside picnic lunch and daily activities. We played a mean round of Yahtzee, enjoyed a walk outside, shared stories, participated in bowling, and ended the morning with a picnic lunch. This is our second year volunteering for the United Way and we look forward to next year!
