The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation is now accepting grant proposals through its online portal. The late Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., former owner of the Buffalo Bills, provided $1.2 billion from the sale of the team to the Pegulas, to establish the Foundation. These funds will be spent over 20 years, divided evenly between Western New York and Southeast Michigan. Mr. Wilson entrusted the Foundation to use the funds to support the communities, and community needs he cared most about, as he did during his life. The Foundation’s focus areas are Children and Youth, Young Adults and Working Families, Caregiving, and Healthy Communities. The Foundation is particularly interested in visionary projects that have significant potential for solving problems and addressing needs in Western New York and Southeast Michigan.
