The Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has two small grant opportunities available:
Toolbox for Education: This program provides funds to public school districts for technology upgrades, tools for STEM programs, small facility renovations, and safety improvements. Most grants are awarded in the $2,000-$5,000 range. The application portal is currently open, but may close after 1,500 applications are received. The absolute deadline is 10/16/15 or sooner, depending on the number of applications.
Community Partners: This program provides funds to nonprofit organizations and municipalities for high-need community improvement projects. This includes building renovations or upgrades, grounds improvements, technology upgrades, and safety improvements. Most grants are awarded in the $10,000-$25,000 range. Applications are due on 8/28/15.
