The latest round of the New York State Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) Program Request for Proposals has been released.
A total of $24 million is available to support 8 new public-private partnerships in preparing students for high-skills jobs in technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and finance. Programs will be funded for 7 years, and will provide academically and economically at-risk students with high school, college, and career training.
A public school district or a BOCES will serve as the fiscal agent for each grant, but partnerships must also include K-12 schools, institutions of higher education, and business/employer partners.
Applications are due April 10th!
The grant now requires annual external evaluation, and has a 30% M/WBE participation requirement. VIA can help you with both.
