The Greater Rochester Health Foundation is beginning a new round of its Opportunity Grants for 2016. It is interested in funding evidence-based or evidence-informed/best practice programs that align with its Prevention and Health Care Delivery priorities. Funding will range from $50k-$200k annually, for 1-3 years. Both pilot programs and existing programs are eligible. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, private foundations, and public entities (e.g. municipalities, school districts) in Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, Orleans, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
Evaluation is a required component of this grant, and applicants are required to include it in the proposal budget. Via Evaluation can assist with planning your program, determining measurable outcomes, and writing the evaluation plan. We can contribute the expertise of two personnel with Master of Public Health degrees. Via Evaluation can also write the proposal.
The mandatory Letter of Intent is due on August 10, and the full proposal is due on September 11. Awards will be made in February 2016, for program implementation in April 2016. If you are interested in learning how Via Evaluation can assist you on this project, please contact Gary Ciurczak via email or at (716) 362-0627.
