If you are a school district or BOCES and see a need to improve vocational education for your students with disabilities, NYSED has a grant program to help. The newly released Program Development Grant to Prepare Students with Disabilities to Exit School with Work Readiness Skills, open to NYS school districts, approved private schools, special act school districts, state supported school, and BOCES, is a 3-year grant that will provide up to $300k-$500k annually (depending on your location) to “enhance instructional programs to increase students with disabilities’ access to and participation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) coursework, instruction in the Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) learning standards, and work-based learning opportunities.” This grant is due on May 29.
This program requires an evaluation. Via Evaluation can write the evaluation component of your proposal, and if you need more grant writing assistance, Via Evaluation can write the entire proposal.
