The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation is accepting applications for its Substance Abuse Annual Cycle, which funds programs that prevent and alleviate substance abuse disorders in youth and young adults to age 26. Eligible program components include screening and assessment, community-based education and supports, and transition and service navigation. Funds are available for 1-3 years, within a general range of $25,000-$75,000 annually.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit (501c3) organizations, nonprofit public benefit corporations, and school districts (public, private, charter, and diocesan) in New York (Erie and Niagara counties) and Massachusetts (Barnstable, Dukes, Essex, and Nantucket counties). Applicants must be registered in the foundation’s application portal by 9/4/15 and submit a pre-application by 9/9/15. Invitations to submit full proposals, which are due on 12/16/15, will be sent by 10/30/15.
