Extensive evaluation plans are now almost always required in grant applications, as funders are becoming more accountable in an age of increasingly scarce resources and improved competition. Via Evaluation President, CEO and Founder Gary Ciurczak, Ph.D., has accepted an invitation from the Director of Corporate, Foundation, & Government Relations at St. John Fisher College to present a workshop at the Second Annual Faculty Grants Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is a comprehensive workshop designed to empower faculty to identify, prepare, and pursue grant and other sponsored program funding. It will be held Wednesday, June 7, on the St. John Fisher College campus, near Rochester, NY. The faculty pursue foundation and government grants from diverse sources, including the William T. Grant Foundation, the National Science Foundation, the US Department of Education, and the NY State Education Department. Gary will introduce and break down tools and methods necessary for the evaluations required by many grant and research funders, from the basic to the advanced.
