The U.S. Department of Education is seeking to fund 8 additional Full Service Community Schools programs. The most recent Full Service Community Schools Notice Inviting Applications and related materials are available here.
Applicants can receive up to $500,000 a year for 5 years to support the planning, implementation, and operation of full-service community school programs that improve the coordination, integration, accessibility, and effectiveness of services for children and families. School districts and community partners, as well as other stakeholders, collaborate in this model to improve services for children and families, particularly in high-poverty areas.
The evaluation section of this proposal is worth 25 points. VIA has written grant evaluation sections for and evaluated multiple federal Full Service Community Schools grants, has evaluated similar programs, and has attended national conferences on the topic.
