A new round of funding for the Family and Community Engagement Program (FCEP), part of New York State Department of Education Department’s ‘My Brother’s Keeper Initiative’, has been announced. The purpose of the program is to increase academic achievement and college and career readiness of boys and young men of color.
Applicant schools or consortiums must provide matching funds and meet specific criteria regarding school population demographics. You can review the Request for Proposals here.
Grantees will need to supply NYSED with a variety of data and include community input in their processes. VIA has experience doing this for FCEP and other grants.
>>In addition, there is a 30% M/WBE contracting requirement. VIA is a certified M/WBE with decades of experience evaluating NYSED-funded grants.
Applications are due February 1st, 2021, so contact us now!
