The East Hill Foundation is accepting proposals for its WNY Grant, for projects that address community needs and enhance the quality of life of WNY residents. The foundation is encouraging projects that address basic human needs, such as food and shelter. Awards will be made up to $30,000. In 2014, there were 25 awards, with an average award of about $9,000.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties.
This grant is due on August 3, 2015. Awards will be made after the October review by the Board of Directors. More information here.
