The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (NYS HESC) has announced the availability of funds to reduce the financial burden of college tours for low-income students. Through the College Tour Reimbursement Program, part of NYS HESC’s College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) program, eligible nonprofits can apply for reimbursement of expenses incurred by taking low-income students on college tours. The process begins with submission of a Pre-Approval Request. HESC has $1,000,000 available for this program, and there is a cap of $45,000 per eligible organization.
This grant does not have a deadline. Pre-Approval Requests will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
